FRIDAY FAVORITES: ALWAYS LATE

Happy Friday! I’m a little late getting this post rolling because we had game night last night. Normally, I draft these up on Thursday night, but here we are – Friday at almost 11am. I’m running a little late today and my to-do list is 18 miles long, but I’m determined to prioritize this space for my happiness. I haven’t done tooooo much this week to share here, I’ve mostly just been trying to prepare for the new month and deal with some personal life stuff, but I’ve got a few good things.

This week I loved…

  • I’ve been using the Drunk Elephant retinol and I’m really enjoying it! My skin did purge a tiny bit, but it cleared up really quickly. I haven’t used a retinol in almost a year, and it just further solidified how important I think the ingredient is in a skincare routine.
  • This is a bit of an unusual item, but I shared it on Instagram a few weeks ago. Chris started buying these Sparkling Ice things a few years ago and we really liked them. Recently, I discovered they make a great low-calorie cocktail mixer! I love mixing the tropical flavors with a little bit of Malibu Rum on a hot day. It tastes amazing AND it’s not an obscene amount of calories or sugar.

In case you missed it…

  • I uploaded a new video of old footage yesterday – well, I attempted to anyway. The post will be here and the video is still working its way to being uploaded. Thanks, Internet. The packing list is already in the resource page – subscribe to get it!

  • If you’re on the hunt for some interior inspiration, I’m currently loving this space featured on Desire to Inspire. It’s a gorgeous rustic, but not, loft with the coolest view down the stairs from the top floor. I don’t know what it is, but I’m a sucker for a staircase or loft you can see down to the lower levels on.
  • I have been audio book mad lately, and love borrowing them from my local library to listen to on Libby. I’ve listened to close to 60 since July I think. 10/10 highly recommended if your library uses the service. I was a little late getting to my reading goal this year, but thanks to Libby I’ve completed obliterated it lol

Shop this weekend…

  • American Eagle is doing a deal on denim, leggings, and joggers. 25% off, no code required!
  • Net-a-Porter is offering a deal for 15% off full-priced shoes through 10/7 with code ShopStyle15. I don’t think they often do sales so it’s worth checking out if there’s something you’ve been wanting.
  • I’m gonna do a little self promo here and promote my Posh closet. We’re working on getting it back to active and I’m desperately trying to be okay with parting with my clothes. Check out my closet here.
  • Always shop with Rakuten (not sponsored, but this is a referral link which you can get too if you’re a part). I’ve saved almost $400 since using it, and I know I’ve missed out on quite a bit from not taking advantage of the in-store features as well. I’m working on getting better because it’s seriously so fundamental.
