FRIDAY FAVORITES: VANCOUVER EDITION

Happy Friday, ladies! I don’t know if you know, but I’ve been in Vancouver for the last almost week. We left late Monday night, had our flight super delayed, and got into Seattle at almost midnight. We decided to stay at the USO since we we’re heading to Canada first thing in the morning.

Now, I don’t know if you know anything about the USO – but basically it’s an incredible volunteer service at many airports that supports military member, retirees, and their families by offering complementary food, luggage storage, and a place to relax between or before travel. The USO in Seattle was really wonderful, but because it’s all volunteer and not a reservation thing, you never know what you’re going to get. We got a huge aircraft-worth of service members waiting to ship out, so we couldn’t find a place to lay our heads until about 1 am.

I miss my pup so much – I’m grateful someone is staying at our house with her, but it really has been even longer since we’ve left without her for more than a night or two. I think if we didn’t have someone staying with her, I’d lose my mind, but I’m able to relax and enjoy the trip a little more since I know our home and pup are being constantly cared for just like I would!

This week I loved…

  • I brought this Lululemon backpack with me on the trip. I have it in a color no longer available, and originally got it for the gym, but I thought I would test it out on a longer trip. And I’m really enjoying it! I love the shoe pocket space on the bottom, it’s a great little book storage to keep those away from my toiletries. And the shoulder straps are nice and padded so it’s comfortable to wear!

In case you missed it…

Shop this weekend…

  • There’s so much on sale at Anthropologie right now it’s making me so sad – let me live vicariously through you!
  • Get up to 60% off sale styles at Kate Spade with code BIGDEAL through the 7th!
  • I’m gonna do a little self promo here and promote my Posh closet. We’re working on getting it back to active and I’m desperately trying to be okay with parting with my clothes. Check out my closet here.
  • Always shop with Ebates (not sponsored, but this is a referral link which you can get too if you’re a part). I’ve saved almost $400 since using it, and I know I’ve missed out on quite a bit from not taking advantage of the in-store features as well. I’m working on getting better because it’s seriously so fundamental.
How has your week been? We’re pretty much done here in Vancouver, but we really want to come back. Is there  anything we should add to our visit list? (Vancouver or otherwise lol)
