FRIDAY FAVORITES: THROWBACK EDITION

Happy Fri-YAY, ladies! I haven’t done Friday Favorites in SOO long. I had originally stopped doing them because I didn’t feel like they were super helpful and the content was more in line with what I was doing in the newsletter. BUT that was in the days of long form content consumption. I feel now people really want something bitesize, or Twitter size, if you will. Though that’s not all of us, so I wanted to bring these back to bring in a little variety. I want to shoot for posts that are between 500 and 2k words so everyone can find something! So I hope you enjoy this little throwback! I bolded a key phrase in each bullet to make it more skim-able for you!

This week I loved…

• I haven’t been wearing too much makeup this week, but I have been relying on sunscreen. I’ve been using this one from Neutrogena and I love it.
• Chris and I recently subscribed to Acorn, which is a streaming service similar to Amazon Prime or Netflix, but focuses on British  television and film, but they also have media from Ireland, and Australia, and more. We’re a big fan of British humor, and crime shows and Acorn TV has given us access to SOO many of our favorites. We’re currently binging Murdoch Mysteries. That as well has been a nice throwback because I haven’t been able to watch it for so long!

• Last week, I shared my tips for dressing like it’s summer when the weather thinks it’s not. We are in the season of daily afternoon rains, which I actually don’t hate, but these tips are essential for getting by!

• I talked about this podcast in my post on Wednesday, but I seriously think approachable. is one of the best general topic podcasts I’ve ever listened to. I listened to the Millennial episode when I took Jenny for a walk on Wednesday and I felt more at peace than I have in MONTHS.
• Speaking of podcasts, Chris and I are thinking about starting our own. We’re going to do a test episode soon if we haven’t already. I think it will show up on our anchor page first, so check back there. I’ll also let you know via social media so follow from the sidebar or bottom of this post.
• Check out this gorgeous space featured on Design*Sponge. Personally, I love fireplaces as fireplaces too much to ever use one as a bookcase, but, you guys, the aesthetic is so cool!
