FRIDAY FAVORITES: UPWIND

UPWIND n. the part of a flight path after takeoff. I didn’t try a lot this week again, but it’s been a better week than the last two, hence the definition. Takeoff is a dangerous time in flight, you can’t just leave the ground and expect the hardest part to be over, but getting off the ground is a start. NGL, I spent this afternoon (Thursday) just playing games on my iPad because I still just can’t. BUUUUT last week, I had one day of being productive and literally slept after work everyday after that (minus the bare minimum to get homework done Wednesday and Friday, and the post on Thursday). SO – not out of the woods, but feeling less anxious most days and more productive most days as well.

This week I loved…

  • I still haven’t tried too many new products this week, but I did fall in love with a pair of leggings I ordered after seeing them on Stripes and Whimsy. They’re the Colorfulkoala leggings on Amazon. I’m between a M and an S right now, so I ordered a small and I LOVE them! They’re so buttery soft and not too attracted to dog hair, which is a godsend. I ordered them in more colors than I’ll probably ever wear.
  • I’ve been using the Revlon dryer that everyone is obsessed with lately and I do LOVE it! It definitely saves styling time, though I still finish with a regular blow dryer to give more volume because I’m not great at getting it to my roots. The one problem I’m having though is that it’s so impossibly loud. It hurts. Chris gave me these ear plugs that dull noise, but still allow conversation sound in and they’re perfect. This pair is similar, but I’m not sure where he got his set. It’s hilarious that I’m doing my hair with ear plugs, but they are game changing. I want to wear them all the time. 😅

In case you missed it…

Shop this weekend…

  • Always shop with Rakuten (not sponsored, but this is a referral link which you can get too if you’re a part). I’ve saved almost $400 since using it, and I know I’ve missed out on quite a bit from not taking advantage of the in-store features as well. I’m working on getting better because it’s seriously so fundamental.
What’s the best part of your week?
