FRIDAY FAVORITES

Country heartthrob Josh Turner released a new single a couple weeks ago. In true Ashleigh-fashion, I’ve been obsessed ever since. Turner’s voice is pure magic and the theme is so perfect. “I wanna drive until my cell phone runs out of range and every bar is gone: Cut through the woods another hundred miles and disappear for a while.” Sounds like exactly what I want to be doing!

Seriously, can it be fall already? I’m pinning layered looks like crazy to satiate my craving for cooler weather. While it’s cooled down a bit, being as active as I am means I heat up pretty quickly so I still can’t rock any of my fall favorites. By January, I know I’ll be missing the warmth, but I’m really into this look and I can’t wait to try it for myself!

I’ve been running just about every day this October. Next week we’ll start reducing the running and adding in a few different kinds of work outs, like the rock wall, biking and hiking. Running is still my favorite though. And maybe it’s wishful thinking for an end to this horrible drought, but I’m the hunt for a super light water resistant jacket to keep up the running when the weather starts to cool down. I’m loving this super light Nike model!

I’m getting the itch to cut my hair again. It’s finally getting long enough that I can comfortably donate it without ending up with a style that is just way to short to manage. I’m loving the idea of a long bob like this or this.

With more and more piling up on my plate, I’m having to rethink how I do things. I’ve been experimenting with different daily schedules and I haven’t quite found the perfect one, but I’m getting close and that’s great! I like this list of habits of successful people, it’s certainly thought-provoking.
