MOTHER’S DAY GIFT GUIDE
Mother’s Day is just a couple days away. I did all my shopping last weekend, but as I go out and about I like to look for other little gifts to add. I love opening presents and I like watching people open their present, so I like the process to take a little bit when I give gifts. I like to pick one or two main gifts then add a handful of other trinkets and accessories to go with.
I would pick a great vest like this J. Crew one or a pretty bag, like the Liz Claiborne satchel below to be the main gift. The berry baskets are nice for tucking other little gifts into, like a hair treatment or sentimental necklace. Cosmetic bags are also perfect and totally useful. If you’re using a gift bag, smaller gifts fill out the bag better than just tissue paper and it’s so much more fun for your giftee. After I pick out my big gift, I love checking out the trinket and jewelry sections to find fillers. If your mom has a good sense of humor, pick out some funny gag gifts to go with! Like an inflatable crown, a wine bottle glass, or a book full of ultra chic crazy cat ladies. Top it all off with a silly card (this UO card had me LOLing) and you’re good to go!
