MY FAVORITE STORES FOR LAST MINUTE SHOPPING

Happy Sunday, ladies! I’m coming at you live and a lotta bit behind from my office floor. I needed a change of space. I meant to get SO much done the week of Thanksgiving when school was off, but truth be told, the Holiday spirit is just not infecting me yet. I’ve got the winter blues and it’s not even officially winter yet. Regardless, blogging has always been my outlet out of these funks so we’re doing our best here. And because the Holiday spirit has been lacking, I thought one of the best things I could share was my favorite places to do my last minute shopping (since I’ll be doing that…)!

PAPER SOURCE

I love Paper Source for gift shopping – whether I’m prepared or not. They have the cutest, kitchy options that are actually useful. It’s great for the people you just can decide what to get for, too. When it comes to last minute shopping, I love finding gorgeous notebooks and pocket accessories there. They carry Pinch Provisions (you know, minimergency kits – I swear by them), Kate Spade, Rifle Paper Co., and tons of other great brands that make great gifts. The perfect items for the folks in your life who claim they don’t need anything.

J. CREW

I mean, there’s going to be a trend in this post. Last minute shopping always seems to be for the people who are hard to shop for. J. Crew is another one of my favorite stores for that person, and any of your trendier friends as well. I bought Chris a bunch of cute boxers for his stocking last year. Admittedly, that’s a bit intimate, but you get the point. You can pick up a ton of practical gifts there that are a little more fun than the average practical gift. J. Crew and J. Crew Factory are also great places to find gifts for coworkers and Secret Santa’s – it’s hard to shop for these people, but every one enjoys a new cozy winter accessory.

FRANCESCA’S

Francesca’s is my FAVORITE girlfriend shopping destination, but I found a bunch of Chris’s stocking stuffers here last year as well.  Mostly cute games and kitchy things like at Paper Source. But I find that they have a bunch more “personalized” items. Not necessarily name gifts, but cute mugs that say “Mom,” “Dad,” or “BFF.” You know the ones. They really do make cute little gifting extras, or just gifts in general. Plus their clothing and especially accessories collection is killer.

What are your favorite last minute shopping destinations?
