Happy Thursday ladies! Or should I say pre-Friday because please! It’s been a long, busy, and exciting week. I’m starting to feel a little sick but I’m pumping myself full of vitamins and rest to try and prevent it from catching hold. Not that I would mind a few days napping and snuggling with the kittens… 😉 Today’s post is all about one of my absolute favorite colors for winter: champagne.

CHAMPAGNE

One of my favorite winter colors is champagne. This color is often loosely defined, but I prefer the golden ivory definition. It’s definitely not white, but it’s no where near a true yellow gold. For me, champagne translates as a really rich and warm winter white shade. It doesn’t make me look washed out like a true white and it’s much easier to prevent a look like this from being too summery when you use a warm-toned almost white. It also looks amazing when complemented with rose gold, which happens to be incredibly on trend right now!
