TBT: TOMMY HILFIGER SPRING 2014
One of my favorite runway shows from September was the Tommy Hilfiger show. I have to say I was actually surprised that it would be my favorite! I’m definitely a Tommy fan, but his shows typically don’t give me the hyper excited feeling that others, like Chanel and Alexander McQueen (my usual favorites), do. Spring 2014, however, completely took my breath away.
Honestly, the collection has me pretty speechless. It’s difficult to describe what I like the most, because I love it all! The first thing that caught my eye was the boldness and variety of the color palette. The second was the sporty silhouettes and insets. The combination of the color and sporty design had me in love. And the introduction of the floral pattern at the end totally floored me. The progression was eye catching and beautiful and incredibly well done.
Picking out my favorite looks from the collection was really difficult, choosing one to be featured at the top was more difficult – the pants won me. The photos that follow are in the order of the collection because ordering them from my favorite to least would have been impossible!
