G-STAR PENROSE TURNER SHINE

I saw these shoes worn by Sandra from 5 inch and up while going through my blogroll. I was immediately obsessed! Mary Janes have been one of my favorite styles of shoes for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I remember having a flat glittery red pair like Dorthy from the Wizard of Oz, I even liked to click the heel when I wanted to go home. When I got older, I graduated to heeled versions but my love is still as strong as it was when I was little.

There are three main things that catch my eye with this particular shoe. The first is the color, it’s such a beautiful chocolately burgundy color. And then there’s the combination of leathers, the two complement each other so well and add to the richness of the color. And the strap, it’s so dainty and delicate mixed with such a strong heel. The attachment at the back is a nice detail that adds tons of visual interest to the shoe.

What’s your most recent shoe crush? 🙂
