Christmas time is a swarm of wrapping, shopping, cleaning, cooking, driving from place to place… Every year, though, I love getting dressed up. This year we were all supposed to be “comfy” as in PJ’s. That really didn’t happen. I, for one, would not have been able to get any last minute activities done if I was in jammies. But I did try to roll with the theme a little bit. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a shot, in my rushing between activities I just didn’t have time, plus I’m always running late. But I enjoyed putting together my last post of what I wore, so I’ll do the same thing again here.

THE BASICS: To keep with the jammie theme, I paired this button up pj top with cuffed dark jeans. I wore heels to the party, but I also had slippers that matched my top to wear at the house.

ACCESSORIES: I kept the accessories very simple. It’s a lunch event and supposed to be pj-like, so I wore my basic favorites, a couple thin bracelets and necklaces and my favorite watch. A leopard headband added a little fun to the outfit.

HAIR & MAKE-UP: I used a simple smokey eye again, but this time I used a lot more copper glow than espresso to tone down but add more sparkle to the look. It’s a great way to make a formal smokey eye more daytime-wearable. For my hair, I curled everything with a curling wand. I was left with a head of tight Goldilocks ringlets. Then i brushed out all the curls until they started to wave and loosen (this took awhile). I used a flat iron to touch up some weird curl lines and make the hair frame my face better. Finally, I finished off with a leopard headband.
