FORMULAIC FASHION: SUMMER 2016 EDITION

I know I’m not the only busy #Girlboss out there, so I wanted to share my favorite fashion formulas for Summer 2016. I kid you not, every time I follow these formulas (even with a messy bun), I get tons of complements on how put together and nice I look. From men and women. It’s usually something like, “Gosh, you’re so busy and you don’t even look it!” Which is like the ultimate busy-girl compliment, right?
In today’s post, I’m wearing my my first summer 2016 formula:
#SUCCESS. This formula gets it, it’s super comfortable and looks totally chic. It only took me like 5 minutes to pick out and put on. AND it’s totally repeatable without being boring – it would totally change the vibe of this look if I opted for a midi or if I chose a white belt and a pink shoe. Fashion formulas are all about dressing up simple pieces with pieces you already own, but maybe don’t think of when you’re feeling uninspired and rushing out the door before your morning coffee sets in.
