Happy MONDAY! How was your weekend? I’m so happy to be back into blogging regularly. I have missed it so, but I’m still out of the routine! Anywho, today’s post is all about the color of the year. I’ve never seen the year’s color infiltrate the daily where of so many people quite like this year’s – but we aren’t wearing the exact shade. In my opinion, we’ve chosen an even pretty shade, but I’ll let you decide…

PURPLE: THE COLOR OF THE YEAR

This year, Pantone announced it’s color of the year was going to be ultra-violet. And shades of purple are everywhere this year. It seems like everyone’s favorite colors this season are purple or yellow. I’m all here for it as well! Purple was one of my favorite colors for YEARS – till I made my self sick of it lol. But I’m happy it’s back and I’m ready to embrace it again!

LILAC VS. ULTRA-VIOLET

Like I said, Pantone called the color ultra-violet. But even more than that deeper purple shade, I’ve been seeing so. much. lilac. The lighter color suits so many more personalities, from those who love color, to those who tend to shy away from it. Lilac seems to be the ultimate middle ground. So, while Pantone has decided on ultra-violet, I think we, as fashion lovers, have called lilac the color. What’s your opinion on that?
