FRIDAY FAVORITES

Now that I’m back at school, I’m miles away and I have to bike. Biking seriously cramps my style. Heels and most skirts just don’t work. I’m on the hunt for some great bike-appropriate outfit inspiration. This look is one of my favorites!

I recently picked up a small bottle of Blow Pro Textstyle Dry Texture Spray on a trip to Ulta. I’ve only used it once, to rough up some curls. I’m excited to experiment more with it. I’ll be sure to review it once it’s empty!

One of my resolutions this year was to learn how to do my hair better. I’ve definitely improved, but I’ve just been playing around. My amended goal is to get enough skill under my belt to do this awesome Celtic Knot look. The tutorial is from Twist Me Pretty, one of my favorite hair & beauty bloggers.

This week the world lost a magical man. I was incredulous when I heard about Robin William’s passing. I truly believed someone was just playing a huge and inappropriate joke. The circumstances of his death are even more upsetting. His role as John Keating in Dead Poet Society was incredibly influential to me. This was one of my favorite scenes.
