TROPICAL ESCAPE

So, I’ve been MIA lately. I worked my butt off while I was home, expecting to come back to Santa Barbara feeling refreshed and inspired. And I walked right into a disaster. Without going into the details too heavily, I’m dissatisfied and I will be living in a suitcase for the rest of the year again! Nonetheless, I’m working on forcing some inspiration and writing regularly. I need to escape! A location like the one printed on my dress seems juuuuust right! 🙂

I bought this dress on a whim what seems like forever ago, and I never wore it. I absolutely adore it, but it’s so bold and nice that it was hard to find the right occasion for it. I noticed it in my closet while getting ready for work a couple weeks ago and decided that it was now or never. I’m crazy about it! Now I can’t wait to wear it again.
