FRIDAY FAVORITES
I can’t tell you how glad I am that it’s Friday. My weeks are usually productive, but they’re rarely busy in the sense that I’m running around perpetually late with places to be. Not this week! I even had plans for today, but I’m not so sure my body is up for them. I quite nearly fell asleep in my dinner last night. The overcast skies have me craving warm coffee and a good book. In reality, it will be a textbook, but I digress. I did manage to find time to fall in love a few times this week, find them after the jump. 🙂
I don’t browse Women’s Fashion on Pinterest that much, mostly because I read like a million blogs a week, but the feature image in this post is a look I found on one of my rare trips to that Pinterest page. I’ve been spending so much time running around lately that easy to wear outfits are a must. This look is just perfect because it’s not fussy or too loaded down with jewelry, but it still pops out and looks amazing.
Unfortunately, I was in kind of a crappy mood on Easter. Have you ever had those days where you have a perfect outfit idea and it just doesn’t feel right once it’s on? I was left hurried with no idea what to wear and was really annoyed by my wardrobe. These t-shirt dresses from Target are a great idea for those days. I’m pretty sure I need them in every color.
One thing I did get right on Easter was my hair. I had an idea for that and it worked out exactly like I imagined. I didn’t get a picture, but this is essentially pretty close to what I did. Next time I try it, I’ll definitely photograph it. 🙂
I love this quote. The Hunger Games reference is adorable, and I really need someone to grant me some luck with even eyeliner wings. I think my new bangs still have me seeing crooked!
