CURRENTLY LOVING: FUR DETAILS

Happy FriYAY, ladies! How was your week? This was my first week not working and I’m totally uncomfortable. I mean, in a good way. But how does one manage time? Anyway, in today’s post I want to share another outfit I can’t get enough of. I’m sure I’ll be wearing a version of this look on repeat until it’s not freezing. Which is like.. August? I’m still not used to Colorado weather. One of the things I’m most loving this season is a pop of fur to add something extra and textural to a basic outfit. In today’s post I’m sharing a few of my favorite pieces that you can pick up today, and how I like to style my fur pieces so they look effortless, chic and comfortable.

HOW TO WEAR FUR

So I actually have a whole post on fur coats, faux of course, which you can check out here. But aside from that post, I have a few tips to help you style your pieces:

  • It looks great with any fancy, or dressed up look. If you really can’t figure how how to style it, wear it to your next event.
  • It can be used to add an extra pizzaz to any casual, every day look. Try topping a sweater + jeans with a fur coat.
  • Use a fur stole to dress up a boring wool jacket (see this post).
  • Fur accessories can also be used to jazz up a simple look, like pops on your shoes or a charm on your bag.
  • If you’re really fearing jumping head first into, look for pieces that just have a subtle touch. A fur color, fur trim, etc.
