Fun Fact: Until I was about 10 years old, I was convinced that I was going to be a mermaid when I grew up. In fact, I was so convinced I was going to me a mermaid that I refused to learn how to swim on top of water, because mermaids only swim under water, duh. Anyway, I still have a deep-rooted love for mermaids and the ocean, which probably explains why I picked UCSB for my undergrad! I know I’m not the only sea-struck girl out there, though, so this wishlist is for the mermaid lover in your life! I’m kind of obsessed with everything. P.S.
