I’m freaking out a little bit. My room has been a disaster for a few months now. There’s piles of clothes, stacks of papers and boxes of stuff. Okay, so the stuff is 100% my laziness. Most of it needs to end up in the trash, and, in a bout of frustration today, most of it did. It’s in dire need of some organization. But amongst all the trash is bank papers, school papers.. Blah, blah, blah. The truth is I’m outgrowing my tiny little bedroom. (I figured that out when I realized I have dishes in there. Clean, thankful.)
During a break from freaking out organizing, I’ve been cruising Pinterest and fantasizing about how I would organize a space of my own. Forget decor for a moment, just organization. While a space of my own is still a long way off, moving closer to campus isn’t really practical for me when I don’t plan on staying past graduation. And I’m just not home enough to justify a place in town. I really hate moving. But I can dream.. And hopefully clean up a bit to function in the meantime.
P.S. If you’re interested in a strange fact, having painted nails actually makes me feel more in control and organized. It forces me to slow down and think (so I don’t chip one). But unfortunately, my frenzy has broken every nail uncomfortably short so that’s out of the question. Thank you, Holidays!
