I love emerald. Green is my favorite color and emerald is my birthstone. I’m a little obsessed. And this year, emerald was named Pantone’s Color of the Year, so you can imagine my excitement!
Emerald is such a striking – and yet, not frustrating – color, it really adds a pop to an outfit. Emerald colored stones and true emeralds convey a rich and luxurious vibe. In clothing and accessories, emerald demands attention. I love seeing it paired with blacks and grays or whites so the color can truly stand on it’s own. In color blocking, I think it adds richness and sort of a natural, relaxed feeling, especially with reds, yellows and oranges. It’s a little silly how much I love this color, but hey, we all are obsessed with something right?
